Injury Prevention

INJURY PREVENTION

Welcome Auburn Soccer Club!

My name is Abby Nielson and I am a local Physical Therapist. I am working with your club to introduce a pre-season stretching, strengthening and dynamic movement program so that your athlete is better prepared for the season. The goal of this program is to decrease their risk for injury once competitive conditioning and play begins. This program is designed to be performed at home on a consistent basis and will be reviewed at some planned evening sessions this summer to ensure form and understanding.

You will be provided a printed copy of the program, a resistance band and videos of the program on your website for an easy refresher should your athlete need it. You will also receive an injury questionnaire. If your athlete would benefit from further evaluation and/or care for a nagging or previous injury, we encourage you to fill it out so we can talk further.

TherapySouth, as a company, is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our patients, coworkers and communities. We have made giving a central core value and we have been involved with supporting the greater community through donations of time and resources.
TherapySouth Gives Back is a not-for-profit 501(c) 3 organization whose purpose shall be to reach out and help those in need, the sick, the oppressed and the hurting in our communities and around the world.
